I bought this lip palette quite a wee while ago now and the reason for the delayed review, I had to make myself use it. I’ve not used it since testing it for this review. Not a good sign…
|Sleek Lip 4 Lipstick Palette in Tease|
You get a satin finish, a gloss finish and 2 matte finish lip squares. The top left square is the gloss called “Spotlight”, the top right is matte called “Show off”, bottom left is matte called “Dita” and bottom right is satin called “Paris”.
These were interesting…the easiest of these to apply is Paris, the hardest was Spotlight – I ended up with this on my teeth and face. The matte colours were very drying and required a fair amount of work to get an even coat. Paris was fine. None of the colours lasted particularly long and overall I was very disappointed with this product.
I bought it for £8.99 and being such a fan of Sleek’s True Colour lipsticks I had high hopes for this product. I’ve been sorely let down. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
Here are pictures of them on my lips. Show off and Paris are both orange toned, Spotlight and Dita are more pink toned. These colours have great pigmentation, I just find them hard to work with, also the matte colours – I had to completely remove them, I couldn’t just reapply over the top, this is not convenient.
These are my opinions only, the product may work better for you. It just didn’t work for me.
