So I picked up some makeup bits in recent weeks….I have already used some of these and I’ll let you know what I think of them as we go!
I bought some of the new L’Oreal Eversleek shampoo & conditioner, these are sulphate free. I got the smoothing & moisturise version and so far so good. There is a small amount of lather with these which I like. I picked up some orange sticks as my current ones are worn down. I was lucky enough to get a Trilogy Rosehip oil Antioxidant to test from the VIP Beauty Panel from Debenhams beauty club, I will be doing a review on this in about a week – I have had it for quite a while and I was using a sample previous to this. From Benefit I gave in and bought the Rockateur, this is a beautiful pinky/peach blush with a bit of a sheen finish, love it! I picked up a few nail polishes… MUA Koala Bear is a lovely taupe grey, Models Own Velvet Goth Absinthe, which is a beautiful sparkly green, I got two from No7 Sparkly Khaki & a sparkly top coat called In the Stars.
Now onto eyeshadows, I picked up two single eyeshadows, Stila’s Kitten and Look Beauty in Khaki.n I managed to get my hands on the new palette from Sleek in Vintage Romance. I also picked up a blush from Sleek blush in Pomegranate. I did pick up the Maybelline The Rocket mascara (not pictured), which was recommended by Carrie from CazmosWorld. I picked up two of the new lipliners from Urban Decay in Ozone – which is a clear lipliner that you can use around the outside of your lips to help prevent feathering and the second liner in Venom which is a lovely plummy colour.
Another product recommend by Carrie was a lipstick from Rimmel in Amethyst Shimmer, lovely pink with a metallic sort of sheen. Three other lippies that I picked up Cherry Blossom Super Lustrous lipstick from Revlon and Plumalicious from BeautyUK, finally I picked up Mulberry from Maxfactor – I am entirely in love with this.
For face I bought the new L’Oreal Nude Magique Eau de Teint foundation in 100 Porcelain, which I’m really looking forward to trying! From Bourjois I thought I’d try the Java Rice powder, this looks like a lovely highlighting/glowing face powder.
I will be doing reviews on these products as I use them, so you can check those out in future. If you want to get a closer look at the products listed you can check out the video below!
