July Beauty Empties!

July Empties!
Time for my July Empties!  Considering it’s been a busy month I’m surprised at how many beauty products I’ve used up!

Body Care
Let’s get the body & hair care out of the way first.  Finished up my Aussie Aussome Volume shampoo, this is a great shampoo for adding volume, especially when used with the conditioner, it did unfortunately add a bit of build up to my hair as well as slightly drying.  I just alternated it with other shampoos to prevent any of that happening.  I’ve finished another bottle of the L’Oreal Elvive Crystal shampoo, this is a great clarifying shampoo.  I have a mini conditioner for frizz prone hair from Tresemme, which was fine, I’ve gone off Tresemme for now and I’ve a mini John Frieda Go Blonder conditioner which I really liked and I’ve since bought a full size conditioner and shampoo.   Empty shower gel, I use one of these per month generally.  Two empty Nivea shower creams, these were grand, didn’t dry my skin out and I may repurchase again in future if they’re on offer.  Another shower gel is the sample from Sai Sei, this was fine I wasn’t overly keen on it and I doubt I’ll repurchase.
I have finished my waxperts ingrown hair pads, I love these, I’ve reviewed them here if you want more info.  I was without these for a month and I noticed a massive difference.  Finished up the Vaseline spray & go moisturiser, this worked well and it definitely helped me keep my skin moisturised in the run  up to my wedding, I don’t think I’ll repurchase though as it’s better value for money to buy the regular bottle, it was still fun to use though!  I’m throwing out the St Tropez Instant Glow, this just didn’t work for me and tended to slip off my skin, just not for me.  I’m also throwing out this Cien Glamour roll on deodorant, this was a terrible deodorant and I just really didn’t enjoy it.  I also had a perfume sample of Rose Imaginaire from Roger & Gallet, this was really beautiful soft floral scent and would definitely consider buying a full size of it.
I also finished another Glade candle in Honey & Chocolate, I love this candle, it’s my all time favourite candle and I will definitely buy this again in the future.
Skin Care
Now on to the skin care.  Finished the No7 Beautiful Skin hot cloth cleanser, this is a lovely gentle cleanser and I will undoubtedly repurchase at some point in the future.  I finished a travel size of the Rodial cleansing balm, this was OK, I wasn’t overly impressed and I won’t be buying a full size.  From Nivea I finished up a toner that I’ve had for such a long time, I finished it in between purchases of the Liz Earle refreshing toner.  The Nivea toner was fine but I much prefer the Liz Earle toner so I won’t be repurchasing for now, but it is a great budget option.  Unsurprisingly I have an empty packet of cotton pads from boots and an empty cotton squares from the Boutique line at Sainsburys.  I’ve already repurchased the cotton pads and I will definitely repurchase the cotton squares, I prefer these over the cotton oval face pads.   I’m throwing out these Suti balms, there was a cleanser balm, foot balm and a repair balm, these left a greasy residue which I didn’t really enjoy.  I have two skin care samples that contain hyaluronic acid  and a half used tube of hydraluron, which I’ve mentioned before in a blog post that I really don’t get on with, so I’m getting rid of these.  I finished up a sample of a Retinol Night Cream, I really enjoyed this and will be investigating buying a full size.  I also had a day cream sample from Rituals, this was fine but I won’t be rushing out to buy a full size.  I’m getting rid of this Murad Pore & Line minimising day cream, this irritated my skin, so it’s going.  I finished up a sample tube of the day cream from Urban Veda, this was quite refreshing on my skin but I didn’t see any benefits on my skin and sometimes it left my skin slightly tight.  Finished up a bottle of Ganier Express 2in1 eye makeup remover, this was good but I prefer the other eye makeup remover from Garnier and I will likely repurchase the blue bi-phase version in future.  I have a travel size Colgate toothpaste for sensitive teeth, this is my favourite toothpaste since my teeth became sensitive, I have no sensitivity when I use it.  Lastly for skin care is this sheet mask from montagne jeunesse, I enjoyed this, so far I’ve enjoyed all the sheet masks, they’re great for a mid-week light cleansing treat and I will definitely buy more of these

makeup
I’m very sad that I’ve finished my samples of the DiorSkin Nude foundation, I loved this foundation, I’ve done a full review of it here.  I will without doubt buy a full size of this, I’m just working through some other foundations first.  I’m getting rid of this mostly used up bottle of YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation, this foundation just doesn’t work for me and I’m admitting defeat.  I’ve finished up another makeup setting spray from Urban Decay, I’ve repuchased the De-Slick version since and I prefer it over this All Nighter spray.  I’m oily so the De-Slick works better.  I’ve a twist up eyeliner form bareMinerals, this is past it’s best and stung my eyes a wee bit when I used it.  I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing as I have blacker eyeliners that I prefer.  Two polishes that I just don’t need in my collection are from Mavala and Urban Decay, I’ve too many polishes.  From Benefit I have a Holy Grail mascara, the Bad gal in plum.  I love this mascara so very much, it does wonders for my lashes and makes my eyes look more blue and it lasts all day.  I will be repurchasing once I’ve used up some of my mascara stash!  Two cream blushes that are past their best are the HD Blush from elf and Lush’s cream pigment in Charm.  They just don’t work well anymore, I won’t be repurchasing either of these for now and I’ve too much makeup and they will just get lost and go off again!  Two lip crayons from No7 are being chucked, I wasn’t a fan of these, they just slipped off my lips and didn’t do anything for me.  So out they go!
That’s it!  Well done if you’ve read all of that!  You can check out the video down below if you want a closer look at anything.
