September Makeup Favourites

I’ve been testing out quite a few new products and have utterly fell in love with a few of them.  Let’s start with base shall we?  I’ve done a review of the GOSH Foundation Drops recently, so this will come as no surprise.  This is a lovely light-weight foundation and is so easy to apply.  It mattifies my face slightly, but it isn’t particularly long wearing.  I still love it.  I have two wonderful blushes to share this month.  The essence matt touch blush in Berry Me Up* is a wonderful soft natural flush on the cheeks.  Max Factor’s Creme Puff Blush in Gorgeous Berries* is the perfect berry autumnal blush.  It’s quite pigmented so I’d recommend starting of lightly.  I’ve been all over the highlighter recently,  maybe I’ve been influenced by the strobing movement, or maybe I’m just going through another phase.  Either way I’ve been loving the Bourjois Java Rice Powder*.  It’s lovely to add as a bit of a highlight on the high points of the face, or if you want an all over glow you can sweep it lightly over your face.  It’s lovely!  I seem to reach for it every day to be honest.

For my eyes another product I’ve been reaching for on an almost daily basis is the Catrice Eyes Wide Matt Absolute Matt Eyeshadow palette.  This has pretty much replaced my Urban Decay Basics palette on that front.  Love this.  Great pigmentation, really easy to blend out, love.  Now on to lips, I’ve had two stand out products this month.  The Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Crayon in 5 – Make a Statement, this has been my go to red lip.  It stains my lips and you can sheer it out slightly to get more of a pinky tone or layer it up to go full on.  It’s really easy to apply and it wears pretty well.  I do have to re-apply after lunch, mostly just to touch up.  It’s not fully matte so it doesn’t dry out your lips.  I’ve a second one I’m also playing with, expect a review soon!  The second lip product is the L’Oreal Infallible Mega Gloss* in Protest Queen, which is a wonder creamy nude.  It’s really easy to wear, it’s creamy on the lips and so comfortable to wear.   I have raved about these glosses before, you can check out the review here.  The last product this month is the True Brit London nail polish in Country Tweed, I was gifted this at the London Bloggers Fashion Week and I’ve thoroughly fallen in love with it.  It’s a perfect pinky toned beige nude, confused?  Well you can see it on my nails here.

So that’s it for this month’s favourites!  As always, you can check out the video below if you fancy 🙂
