I got this Flormar Perfect Coverage Concealer a few weeks ago while I was back in Ireland, I did a haul post with all the goodies I picked up. I have the shade 001. While it looks quite pale in the tube, it comes out more salmon toned when swatched. Which makes it perfect to use on purple and blueness below my eyes. So a quick look at the blurb on the concealer before we get started.
With the creamy texture the concealer is easy to apply, provides a smooth and natural look, gives a comfortable feeling with its thin texture, helps the eye makeup stay perfect all day, enhances the performance of the eye shadow, as it reduces the vision of the bags under the eyes and the dark circles, it also helps preventing these problems. With its special technology it fights against the signs of early aging.
It is definitely very creamy. It is quite thin in consistency, which means it’s very lightweight on the skin. Great for those of us with a few lines under our eyes. It doesn’t really settle too much into the fine lines throughout the day thankfully!
I tend to bring my foundation almost up to my eyes, leaving to a bit of a gap. I’ve found it can be a wee bit to heavy if I layer up my foundation & under eye concealers in general. As you can see my eyes look slightly purple and my darker freckles are more obvious in the before picture. They even look slightly sunken in comparison to the after picture. The concealer does a great job of brightening the area and correcting the purple.
I don’t use very much, only a few dabs of the doe foot applicator. The doe foot applicator is flat and flexible, which means it’s easy to apply the concealer. You can use a dense domed brush to blend it in, or dab it in with your finger. I like to use a damp mini powder puff from W7. It just leaves a great finish. I will use the damp sponge in my Urban Decay De Slick setting powder to use it to set the concealer. This helps to prevent the concealer looking cakey.
I thoroughly enjoy this concealer and I’ve been using it most days. Sadly I can’t remember the price, but it was definitely under €10. I also can’t find it in the UK either in shops or online. It is available in Ireland, check your local big chemist or pharmacy. I think it might be more available in Europe. It may become available on Amazon one day! A girl can dream. I will definitely stock up the next time I’m home!
