Temple Spa In The Beginning

Temple Spa

To say that’d I’m a bit in love with this cleanser is an understatement.  So to prevent me tell you repeatedly that I love this cleanser, I thought I’d tell you now.  I love this cleanser.  Let me introduce the TempleSpa In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt, which retails at £28 for 60g.  Now if you’ve been around for a while, you’ll know I very rarely describe a product as a Holy Grail product.  I think it’s a bit overused and loses some of the umph.  For this cleanser however, I shall make an exception.

I’ve been using this since mid-March.  It was the first product I changed in my evening skin care routine and it has made a massive impact.  There are only a handful of ingredients in this cleanser, the key ingredients are Calendula, Clary sage, Lavender, Vitamin E, OIive Oil, Basil.  There are no parabens or nasties in this product.  Which means it will likely suit more skin types, or at least it won’t cause irritation.

This is quite thick in consistency, it’s similar to the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm, but with more grit to it.  That grit is the tiny exfoliating beads which melt as you massage the balm into your face, releasing even more of the good ingredients.  After using it for a few days, I really started to notice how smooth my skin felt and as I’m a fiend for giving myself massages while cleansing, my skin was feeling thoroughly cleansed and decongested.  It doesn’t feel stripped and dry afterwards at all.  You only need a tiny amount of this to clean your face, once it’s warmed up, it dissolves into an oil.  So it’s safe to say this 60g will last a long time.  You can massage this balm in and leave it for 30mins as a treatment, or just massage it in for a few minutes, then remove it with a damp, warm face cloth/flannel.  This is definitely a second cleanse product, I wouldn’t really rate it for removing your makeup.  It does a fine job of it, I just prefer other products for removing my makeup.  I feel as if it’s wasted when I use it to remove makeup.

There is quite a strong scent of the product, it reminds me of a mix of a few essential oils, I thoroughly enjoy it.  It helps me feel as is I’m giving myself a bit more of a pamper.  You may have seen an improvement in my skin in recent videos, I’m actually doing tutorials again and I’m much happier with how it looks and feels.  Now it has been a culmination of products, which I’ll review separately, but I can say hand on heart that my skin was vastly improved with just this product.  I definitely recommend checking it out.
