I recently had a friend ask me where I get my basics, as well as my splashes of colour. So I thought I’d share some recent re-purchases…along with shiny new things. Plus I’ve a wee giveaway for you, it’s my first one, so I’m all excited! On with the clothing.
So the top two tees are the same, just black/white. I’ve bought multiples of these, they rock. They’re simple Jersey tops* from H&M, great to pair with most things. I often put a colourful vest top underneath for those splashes of colour – Primark is great for vest tops. Below is a slate grey V-neck jersey top with a drop hem at the back. This is another one from H&M, it’s perfect with skinny jeans…sadly I tore my favourite pair of jeans, sad times – so instead you can see it with slacks.
How snuggly is this hoodie? It’s a Sweatshirt cardigan* from H&M. This is perfect as the weather warms up, I tend to layer this with a long cardi too, hooray for layering. It has some fraying along the rolled hems, this is on purpose and it doesn’t cause me any issue. I may be more than a little bit in love with these Black Satin Floral Brocade Chunky Sole Trainers*. Seriously. They are just stunning in my opinion! The metallic, colourful stitched flowers are just stunning. Are you can see, I’ve already been wearing them a lot. Yet another way to add colour to a basic outfit.
Can we take a moment for Harry Potter? I’m a big fan and I think I did incredibly well to only buy this t-shirt from Primark. They had a massive collection of various Harry Potter goodies. I like the colours, it works well with my wardrobe.
OK, lastly we have something even more epic. My very own t-shirts. We all know I love a mix of basic tops and graphic tops. So when Printsome got in touch and asked if I’d like to create a t-shirt design* and give some away, well I almost took their arm off. I spent far too long browsing through their selection of t-shirts and I finally picked these. They’re slightly wide round neck t-shirts in slate grey marl and with Honestly… in the top left. I’m really pleased with how they turned out!
I have 2 XL and 2XXL t-shirts to give away. Please note I’m only sending to UK & Ireland. In the picture below I’m wearing a XL, I’m a broad size 12 – so you can see they’re a big size 12, perfect for slouching about. Even better if you’re a size 10 and you love slouchy clothes. Or if you’d rather a more fitted version, this would be perfect for a size 14. I think the XXL would be loose on 14, tighter on 16 and super loose on 12. These are all UK sizes I’m referring to.
So the rather wonderful Printsome* are sponsoring a giveaway! How to win one of these t-shirt designs? You pick which of the t-shirts you want to win and complete the options available! Pretty simple. Competition closes on 21st April 2017.
This is my first ever giveaway and I’d like to high-five Printsome for creating these…I may start branching out into creating more of my own, what do you reckon?
