Winter Clothes Haul | Very, River Island, Superdry, JustFab

Winter clothes haulHooray for wardrobe updates!  I’m very much an online shopper, I rarely go shopping in actual shops anymore, so of course when it comes to updating my Winter wardrobe I got a bit excited shopping on Very…can you tell by the excitement on my face!  Look at all those knitted things.

We shall start with the knitted jumpers. I’m in love with both, understandable really!  The V by Very Cable Blouson Sleeve Jumper* in orange is cozy and thoroughly brightens my day, whereas the Superdry Lia Cable Cowl Neck Jumper* feels much more understated and elegant. I’ve worn both repeatedly and they are cozy and great for adding something wonderful.

I was in need of a new sweater..well I was in need of this Puma Essentials No.1 Crew Sweater* and this excellent blue/black longline plaid shirt – which is sadly no longer available.

I’m looking forward to wearing this River Island Charcoal Jumper Dress* with my skinny jeans…too 90s?  Although I’ll also be adding thermal tights or colourful tights and boots too.  Plus all the accessories.  Speaking of skinny jeans, these V by Very Tall Macy High Waisted Skinny Jeans* are so comfortable, they fit really well and the button top and high waist are perfect for my IBS and they also make me look fab, well in my opinion.  Now for some basics, I picked up a V by Very Shawl Collar Rib Cardigan in Black* and Grey*.

OK these are neither necessary or basic, the V by Very Liquid Metallic Lace Up Trainer in Pewter* and JustFab Presley Bootie and all kinds of fun.  A girl can never have enough woolly hats, so I picked up a V by Very Chunky Cable Knit Pom Pom Beanie in Black* and Grey* (what can I say, classic colours).

Shiny Trainers and Just Fabs Shoes

I’m also a tad in love with these Superdry Clarrie Mittens*, they’re so chunky and I’ve a think about fingerless gloves, but of course it’s always too chilly for them, so the mitten addition helps.  These two scarves, although they look vaguely similar, they are both rather amazing and I couldn’t decide, so I didn’t!  We have the V by Very  Brushed Stripe Blanket Scarf* and V by Very Mono Brushed Ombre Scarf*.

Lastly for some random additions.  I’ve an ECover Non-Bio Laundry Concentrated Detergent in Lavender & Sandalwood and Fabric Softener in Apple Blossom & Almond, I was sent these bits to try out and I’m delighted – perfect for washing all my new things.  Something that’s definitely new – for those of you that know me at all, I’ve never own a proper set of straighteners in my life, but recently I’ve started curling my hair and doing more random things, so I felt the need to get my very own pair of GHD IV Styler straighteners*.

So that’s it, that’s my clothes shopping done until Spring!  Well that’s the theory anyway.  What have been your new woolly additions for Winter?  Are you going to try out any of these pieces?  Would you like me to put together a lookbook with these pieces and should you how I’d style them?
