Review: Revlon Super Lustrous Lipsticks

I recently picked up these lipsticks, you may have seen them in some recent haul videos.  I initially only bought two, Blushed and Blushing Mauve.  I loved them so much I went out and got Va Va Violet.

These are incredibly rich creamy lipsticks.  I would compare them with mac’s cremesheen lipsticks. Really great pigmentation and they don’t dry out the lips.  They fade naturally without leaving odd lumpy bits and leaving your lips still feeling soft.  They also wear very well, then tend to last most of the morning, which equates to about 3 cups of tea and some water.   You can increase the wear by first applying some lipliner, I use Rimmel’s Eastend snob for the two lighter shades.

Here are some daylight swatches.  You can see the brilliant pigmentation and the lovely colours.  The Va Va Violet, although it looks quite purple in the bullet, it sheers out well and is definitely something that can be worn in the daytime with a neutral eye look.  Both the Blushing Mauve and Blushed lipsticks are very versatile.  They can be worn with a number of different eye looks as they are both quite neutral when on the lips.  They all have a small about of sheen, which brighten up any look.
