So I’m feeling a mite plummy today! Bring on the purples.
I started with my Prime Time primer from bareMinerals. Once this had settled I applied some Hourglass concealer under my eyes to cover the blueness. Then I buffed in my bareMinerals Matte foundation – this requires a fair amount of buffing, I also use the foundation as concealer on blemishes, so I took my concealer brush and covered any super visible marks. With all that done I reached for my bareMinerals Well Rested powder and set the concealer under my eyes with it, it really lightens and highlights the area. I used the elf Tone Correcting powder after I’d applied all over makeup, I use it to help set my makeup.
Now for eyes! I used mac Painterly paintpot as an eye base. Then from my Urban Decay Basics palette I took Foxy all over my lid and Faint into the crease. I then took elf baked eyeshadow in Brunt Plum and applied this to the outer third of my eye and blended lots. I went in with my elf eyebrow kit in Ash and tidied my brows. I finished my eyes by curling my lashes and adding plenty of Benefit’s Badgal in Plum (A HG item for me!)
For my cheeks I used NYX Desert Rose – love this strong pink colour.
Finally for lips, I’ve gone with mac Plumful. A firm favourite when wearing purply tones.
Here’s the finished look!
An attempt to do a close up of my eyes!
