Bdellium Tools Brush Review

This is a quick review of the rather fabulous Bdellium Tools makeup brushes that I picked up at IMATS, there is one brush I bought from but I thought I’d include it too.

All of these brushes wash well and don’t shed, just thought I’d get that out of the way now!

First up Studio Brushes

The bristles are treated with an antibacterial agent to preserve skin quality with lacquered handles.

As you can see I have three of these, the top is 980 Large Natural Powder brush.  This brush is so utterly fabulous I’m not sure I can express how much I love it.  It’s very, very soft and I tend to use it to apply my Hourglass Ambient lighting powder, it applies it really well, it picks up the product so well and I could just sit and stroke my face all day with this brush.  I love it.  Seriously.
The middle brush is 768 Round Dome Shadow brush.  This is a mix of synthetic and natural bristles.   This is a dense eyeshadow brush that can really pack on the colour.  I use this in my crease and corner when I’m aiming for a smokey eye.  It picks up and applies the product really well and it’s really easy to use.
Bottom of the picture is 762 Small Angle brush.  The bristles are all synthetic.  This brush is great for eyeliner, I’ve been using smaller angled brushes for applying gel liner recently as I’ve found it so much easier to apply a clean line and add a wing if I fancy, I’ve much more control with this brush.

Now for the Pink Bambu Brushes!

These are vegan synthetic, 100% cruelty free brushes with bambu handles.  They’re hypoallergenic and eco friendly.

Top of the picture is 959 Powder Blending brush.  Another brush I’m very much in love with.  I use this with my loose mineral foundation and it does such a fantastic job of applying it and blending it all in, that I actually reach for this brush more than my bareMinerals Flawless face brush – which is made for the loose foundation.   Love this brush.
Middle we have 714 Flat Eye Definer brush.  I tend to use this brush as a smudger brush for my eyeliner.  I don’t like applying my eyeliner with this brush, but it’s really nice to smudge out either pencil eyeliner or gel eyeliner.  I just prefer my small angled brushes for applying gel liner.
Bottom of the picture is 781 Crease brush.  This is a great crease brush and blends out really well as well as applying eyeshadow.  It’s quite a nice soft brush and nice to use.

Finally Green Bambu

This is another eco-friendly brush with a sustainable bamboo handle, vegan synthetic bristles.  They bristles are also hypoallergenic and are 100% cruelty free.

This is 733 Lash brush.  This is a great spooly that I use to shape my brows before and after filling in my brows.  Now much to say on this, it’s a great spooly and is easy to use!
