Skin Care, Makeup & Nail Polish Haul!

Beauty Haul
Hello!  I’ve replaced some of my empty products and laid hands on a few new goodies, as well as being sent some products for review.  Lets get stuck in!  I’ve bought these over a few weeks, so I’m going to order it in order of purchase.  This first batch were purchased from boots.

I’ve been wanting to try the No7 Cleansing Brush (£24.95) for a while, well really I wanted to try the clarisonic and thought this would be a great cheaper alternative.  So in a bid to have lovely smooth skin on my wedding day, I thought I’d take the plunge!  As my L’Oreal Micellar solution had run out, I thought it time to test out the New Gariner Micellar Cleansing Water, especially as it’s currently on offer for £3.33 (normally £4.99).  I needed a new body scrub, I’m a massive fan of the Sanctuary products, this scrub smells fresh & citrus-y but still has that Sanctuary smell.  It’s the Mande Lular Sensuous Body Scrub (£6.25).  Finally for skin care from this part of the haul was some baby wipes, I just use these to clean off makeup swatches, or foundation from the back of my hand.  They’re just handy to have about and these were on offer for £1!

Makeup & PR goodies
I picked up a sample of mac Face & Body foundation, I’ve been matched to the shade N1, another wedding foundation testing sample!  I also bought the Pro-long wear concealer in NC15 (£15.50).  I also attempted to pick up a sample of the DiorSkin Forever Fluid foundation, unfortunately I think the chap behind the counter got confused and gave me a Nude sample (which I already have a sample of).  I’ll try to get a sample of it another time..tad annoying!  The Final makeup product for this part of the haul is from Campbell Crafts.  I discovered this at a Vintage Fair (I did a vlog of this over on my vlog channel, go check it out!).  This is a lip paint from Le Keux cosmetics (part of Campbell Crafts), I picked the shade Whistle Bait.  I’m excited to try this, it claims to allow you to produce 3 different lip finishes…I’ll let you know how I get on!

Now for the PR Samples.  I was contacted by a lovely PR lady at Mont Bleu asking if I would like to test out some of their products and provide an honest review.  I already own one of their nail files so I jumped at the chance!  I was sent 2 glass nail files, a pair of tweezers, a beautiful compact mirror and a foot scraper (I’m a dancer, I asked to test it out).

Haul Part Two..Makeup, Nail Polish, Skin Care & Body Care
I picked up some new Barry M polishes, they were all on offer at Superdrug, 2 for £6.  I added to my Gelly Hi-Shine collection with some of their spring editions, I picked the shades Huckleberry and Sugar Apple (£3.99 each).  I also picked up two more of the Silk polishes, in the shades Blossom and Pearl (£3.99 each).  Of course I was on a roll at this point so I also bought some of the newest Aquarium collection!  So I bought the shades Pacific and Arabian (£3.99 each).  These were all on offer at Superdrug, 2 for £6.   I got a free gift with purchase from Very, SPAtopia Dead Sea body was, it’s part of their “treat” program.  While in Superdrug I picked up some much needed body moisturiser.  Yardley‘s Blue Orchid smells fabulous and it’s on offer for £2.66 from Superdrug.  Now for the samples.  I managed to get a sample of Estée Lauder’s Doubler Wear foundation in the shade Shell.  The lovely girl in boots was also good enough to give me two samples of the Advanced Night Repair and a sample of the Advanced Night Repair Eye.  Finally I got two Daily Cleansing samples from Antiac while in Infinity Foods as well as a topical spray for blemishes.

That’s it for this post, I will follow up with a short fashion accessories haul, so keep your eyes open for that!
