Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Polish |
So if you’ve been watching my haul videos you likely noticed I’d picked up a few Barry M polishes. The first for review are recent additions to the Gelly Hi-Shine line, colours ideal for spring. I picked up two, Huckleberry and Sugar Apple. These both retail for £3.99 but boots and Superdrug tend to have deals on, in fact as I write this Superdrug have a 2 for £6 offer on (which I took advantage of).
Back to the polish! I do agree, these are great colours for spring, lovely pastels but still a strong colour on the nails. However, I’m not the biggest fan of these recent additions. They were streaky to apply, I almost need 3 coats just to get an even coverage. They chipped after only a couple of days wear and then proceeded to peel quite badly, I had to remove the polish only a few days after application. They just weren’t up to the normal standard of the Gelly Hi-Shine polishes!

The colours are nice, but the application and wear time aren’t the best for me. I won’t be rushing out to buy more of them anyway. Thanks for reading!
