What Does My Face Cost?

I’ve seen this tag do the rounds under various names, What’s My Face Worth? Or How Much Does My Face Cost?  Either way, I thought it was a bit fun!

So the products I used while getting ready.  I didn’t need a primer so I started with the Covergirl Outlast foundation, I’ve price matched it to the Max Factor equivalent £11.99*, I used mac Pro Longwear concealer £15.50 and Collection Illuminating Touch concealer £4.99*.  From mac I used a paint pot as a base for my eyes £15.  I set my face with bareMinerals Mineral Veil £20.

For eyes I went with a Covergirl bombshell shineshadow, Max Factor have creamy pencils for £5.99 (I thought that was close enough!).  I used the brown shade from my 17 Barely There trio in my crease £5.49*, from my crease to my brows I used Brulee from Wet n Wild £2.06.  I used the Espresso Last 12Hr Made To Last liquid eyeliner pencil from Jordana £2.09.  For mascara I used the Physicians Formula Organic Wear £16 and Maybelline’s The Rocket Volum’ £7.99*.  For my brows I’m using up a sample of Sigma’s brow powder in Scarlett, I’ve seen the full size for £9.   I set my brows with Collection clear Colour Lash mascara £1.99*.

I contoured with NYX blusher in Taupe £6.  My Smashbox blusher that I used was limited edition in Idolize Me and was about £24.50.  On my lips I have NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler £5. I swept my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light all over my face £38.   I set my face with Urban Decay’s all nighter setting spray £20.  So that’s it!

My total: £211.59.
It does seem a lot, but we only ever use a small amount when we apply our makeup.  I generally use a mix of high end and high street makeup, so this could’ve been a lot worse!!  You can check out the video below if you want to see me applying all this makeup 🙂
