50s Inspired Glam Eye Look

For primer I used Smashbox Photo Finish Primer*, followed by Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation (similar here).  For concealer I used a mix of the mac Pro Longwear concealer and NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer*.  I set it all in place using the elf HD under eye setting powder and mac Beauty Powder from the Marilyn collection.

I primed my eyelids using the Urban Decay eyelid primer potion*.  I started by taking a cream eyeshadow from the Sephora Primal palette all over my eyelid.  Then I took the palest gold eyeshadow from the palette and popped it on the inner third of my eyelid.  I was attempting to make it paler, it didn’t really work so you can skip this step!  I then went with Half Baked* from Urban Decay and placed it all over the moving part of my eyelid.

For my crease I used Faint from Urban Decay Basics Palette* and Foxy from my crease up to my eyebrows to help blend it out.

For eyeliner I used Maybelline gel liner* in black and a very small angled brush.  I started by keeping it close to my lash line, then for the flick I tried to aim the point at the end of my eyebrows.  I gradually thickened it slightly, narrowing towards my tear duct.

Along my lower lash line I used the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Eldorado, bringing it along the bottom of the flick and in around my tear duct.  I used the black Rimmel Kohl Pencil* along my lower waterline.  For mascara I used Jordana Best Volume Extreme Volumizing mascara on my top lashes and Maybelline The Rocket Volum’* mascara as a second coat on the top lashes and on my lower lashes.  For my eyebrows I used Faint from the Basics palette.

To contour I used NYX Blush in Taupe and NARS Orgasm blush* to add a nice touch of colour to my cheeks.  I used the pale gold eyeshadow as highlight over my eyebrows, cupids bow, tops of cheeks, above my brows.  Now for the bold red lips! I lined my lips with Barry M Lip Liner 2 and filled my lips with it too.  The lipstick I used was Urban Decay lipstick F-Bomb*, isn’t it a fabulous colour!

I swept Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light all over my face and sprayed my face with Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray.  And we’re done!

You can check out the video below if you’d like to see how I did it all.
