With the Christmas party season in full swing, I thought I would do a Day to Night look, something that you can just top up, ready for drinks!
I’ve used one eyeshadow palette for both looks, Sleek’s Oh so special palette. So you can pop it in your bag to make your day look more of an evening look.
After priming my eyelids with mac Painterly Paint Pot, I put the creamy powder all over my eyelid up to my eyebrows. I then took the peachy colour all over the moving part of my eyelid. Using the tan colour I blended the peachy colour into my crease. I used the cream colour again from my crease up to my eyebrows. I used the bronze colour along my top lash line and on the outer third of my lower lash line. I applied a coat of Jordana’s Best Volume Extreme mascara to my top lashes and filled in my eyebrows using Faint from Urban Decay’s Basics palette.
I primed my face with Smashbox Photo finish primer and then used Covergirl outlast stay fabulous foundation. To conceal my blemishes I used mac Pro Longwear concealer mixed with NARS Radiant Creamy concealer to get the right shade. For under my eyes I used the NARS concealer and set it with elf HD Under Eye Setting Powder. I set the rest of my face using mac’s Forever Marilyn Beauty powder. To contour I used NYX blush in Taupe and to add a nix of highlighter and colour to my cheeks I used Wet n Wild’s blusher in Pearlescent Pink. I also swept Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light all over my face. I then set it with Urban Decay’s De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray.
To make this more of an evening look I went back to the Sleek palette and took the dark chocolate brown shadow into my outer V blending it into my crease. I also brought the brown shadow along my top lash line and further along my lower lash line. I then went over the brown shadow with the bronze colour, so over the outer V and along both lash lines. I topped up my mascara using Maybelline The Rocket Volum on my top lashes and on my outer lower lashes. I brought the Jordanan 12H Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Espresso Last along my lower waterline, again just on the outer third. I also added the NYX lip gloss in Ballerina Pink. All done! You can check out the video below to see how I applied it all.
