November Favourites

I have a mix of makeup, nail polish, fashion and some Christmas crafty decorations for my favourites this month!

Let’s do makeup first.  I’ve fallen back in love with my DiorSkin Nude* foundation in 010.  My skin has become paler in Winter, plus it’s been a wee bit irritated.  This foundation doesn’t irritate my skin and it’s a good colour match.  I’ve been reaching for it most days.  From NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien, this is not the first time this has been in my favourites.  I’ve worn it for interviews and when I didn’t want anything too much going on, it’s the “your lips but better” shade with a bit more gloss.  I did a Simple Work/Interview Look recently using this pencil.  I have been testing out the Jordana Best Volume Extreme* volumizing mascara.  It has quite a full brush with bristles and is quite a dry formula to start with.  This layers up really nicely on my top lashes, while still looking quite natural.  It gives fluttery lashes.  I wouldn’t recommend it for bottom lashes and there can be the odd clump, nothing a lash comb can’t sort out.

For nail polish I’ve really enjoyed Ciate Paint Pot in Mistress. It is a true, fire engine red.  I did a blog post on it here if you want to see the colour on my nails.  I think it’s the perfect Christmas red shade.  I’d recommend checking it out!

From Imperial Leather I  have the Muscle tonic stimulating bath cream in soothing saffron & hibiscus.  This foams up really well and has definitely helped my aching legs recover.  I only soak for 20mins or so in the bath, it makes a world of difference.  Good if you get tired legs, or if you’re feeling chilly.  I have a pair of boots from Fly London, I’ve had these a few years and they always come out in Winter.  They can be dressed up or down and go with both skirts and jeans, very handy! You can find similar here.

The final favourites of the month are Christmas decorations that I made!  I went to a Hillarys Craft Event recently and we made some bunting and a bauble from fabric!  I had great fun and met some lovely people, plus I was really pleased with the end results! Winner!  I will be popping up a blog post on the event later in the week and I’ve already posted some pictures on my instagram if you’d like a sneak peek.
