Green Eyed Diva

I fancied something a tad dramatic.

I primed my eyes with my mac painterly paint pot.  Then I put some tape from just below my lower lash line to the end of my eyebrows.  I’d already stuck to the back of my hand a few times.  I used Naked 2 above my crease, this will help to blend everything after.  Then I put the Maybelline Color Tattoo* in Timeless Black all over my lid, bringing it up to meet Naked 2.  I did straighten out the top of the Timeless Black.  I blended out the top edge a bit to help everything soften.

I then used a Barry M Dazzle Dust* in 78 over the inner two thirds of the black shadow.  Note to self, remember to tap of the excess!  I took a second dazzle dust in 98 and used that on the outer third and along my crease bringing it in towards my tear duct.  I blended and blended and blended a wee bit more.  I took some of Foxy from the basics palette to help blend from my crease up to my eyebrows.

I used Timeless Black on an angled brush along my lower lash line and then applied 78 over the top on the inner half and 98 on the outer half.  I used a clean pencil brush to smudge it out.  I used Rimmel Scandeleyes kohl* pencil in black along my top & bottom waterline.  I lined along my top lash line used the Jordana Fabuliner in Black, keeping it as tight to my lash line as possible.  I curled my lashes and used Lancome Hypnose Volume mascara* top and bottom.  I used a pair of Eldora B202 lashes, they’re great lashes to pop on the outer lash line.  I filled in my brows using Faint from the basics palette.  I did a bit of a clean up after I removed the tape, the onto the face!

On my face I used Smashbox Photo Finish primer and Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation.  For blemishes and under eyes I used a mix of the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.  I set my face with Mac Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder.  To contour I used NYX Blush in Taupe.  To add a soft pink flush to my cheeks I used Mac Sheertone Blush in Dollymix and I added highlight with bareMinerals Ready Luminizer The Shining Moment.  For lipsticks I used one my new lipstick additions from Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy range in Powerful.

And this is the end result!

I really enjoyed putting this look on, it’s a shame I had nowhere to wear it!  You can check out the video below for a closer look at how I applied it.  If you’ve any questions please shout.
