I thought it about time I did more natural look. I’ve gone with a simple bridal look that is also an everyday look. I’ve tried to prefect my base as much as possible and kept the eyes pretty simple.
Unfortunately I didn’t managed to take photos of all the various steps, but I can show you what I’ve used and you can check out the video below.
Smashbox PhotoFinish primer* all over. Makeup Academy Pro-Base Prime & Conceal palette*, I used the green on any red marks I had on my face, then the salmon colour under my eyes. For foundation I went with Covergirl outlast stay fabulous – if this is for your wedding, try mac face & body, or another full coverage foundation without spf. I mixed Nars Radiant Creamy concealer* & mac Pro Longwear to cover any last dots of redness and to help brighten up under my eyes. I set my face with mac Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder. I used NYX blush in taupe to contour along my cheek bone, chin and outside of my face. For blush Dior Rosy Glow* to add a soft flush of pinky colour and highlight is Elizabeth Arden Rose Illuminator. I finished off my face at the very end with Hourglass Ambient Lighting* Powder in Ethereal Light.
Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix eye primer. Then the peachy shade from Benefit’s Big Beautiful Eyes* palette all over the moving part of my lid, the brown shade next to it in my crease and outer corner of my lid. Then blended a lot. The matte brown shade tight along my top lash line and also as an eyebrow powder. I used Foxy blended from Urban Decay Basics* palette from the crease to my brows. I set my brows with Collection Colour Lash clear mascara. Lancome Hypnose volume mascara* on my top & bottom lashes – I’d recommend a waterproof mascara instead for your wedding day.
Lips! I lined & filled in my lips with Rimmel Exaggerate lip liner* in Eastend Snob, put Dior Addict Lipstick* Windrose mainly in the centre of my lips, using a lip brush to fade it out towards the corners of my mouth. I topped it off with NYX Gloss in Ballerina Pink in the centre of my lips, patted out with my finger. Then sprayed my face with Urban Decay De-Slick Makeup Setting Spray*.
Done! You can add to this however you like, smoking out the eye more, individual lashes, a different lip colour. The main aim is to perfect the base as much as possible, which I think I’ve mostly managed. If you’ve any other tips to share with people, please leave them down below in the comments section! I’m always willing to learn too!
