It’s already the end of January, I’ve actually enjoyed January this year – I know! I was surprised too! Anyway let’s crack on with my favourites for the month.
Let’s start with the Deep Steep Moisture Stick* in honeydew & spearmint. I talked about this recently in a this post and I had to mention it as a favourite, it helped with my painful eczema so much. This will be in my bag when we go snowboarding in a few months. Love it and really recommend it if you suffer for very dry skin.
I’ve been loving my my Estée Lauder Pure Colour Envy lipstick* in Powerful. This is such a perfect vibrant medium pink colour. Throw in that it’s lovely and moisturising on the lips, with great colour pay off and it lasts for quite some time on my lips. Love this lipstick, definitely worth checking out the line. You can see the swatch below. Expect a proper review of it soon! Two other lip products I’ve been enjoying are the Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain* in Cherish and the mac lustre lipstick in Feed the Senses. I discovered by happy accident, that when I applied mac Feed the Senses over the Cherish balm stain, I ended up with a lovely soft wearable pink. They’re both lovely moisturising lip products too, so my lips were enjoying this combination!
Unsurprisingly my Dior Rosy Glow blush* is a favourite this month. I raved about it in the review post I popped up, I love the colour it becomes on my skin and it adds a lovely touch of luxury to my mornings. My final favourites for the month are these eye brushes from the Make-Up For You 24pcs set. The round topped brush is great for adding a small amount of colour to my outer corner and working it towards the centre of the lid, lots of control. The angled brush is useful for applying shadow on an angle, so I get a nice soft winged look and the square topped brush is just a great blending brush! I am going to do a series on my favourite brushes and what I use them for soon.
So that’s it for this month’s favourites. What have your favourites been? I’d love to hear down below! Thanks for reading and as always you can check out the video below for a closer look at anything!
