November Favourites

November Beauty Favourites

This month has been mostly about blush and fun activities!  The first blush is the elf classic in Berry Merry.  This is a wonderful berry toned blush, perfect for the Winter season, it’s such an easy blush to wear and it’s an utter bargain.  The Sleek blush* Pomegranate is another berry blush, it is however, much more pink toned and I would recommend using a light hand when you first apply this.  It is quite a pigmented blush.  The final blush is NYX blush in Ethereal.  There is nothing berry toned about this blush, it a pinky toned blush with a bit of shimmer running through it.  Perfect for those minimal makeup days, it’s a lovely natural flush on the cheeks.

I rediscovered my bareMinerals Well Rested*.  This is such a wonderful multi-tasking concealer.  It is great for concealing under my eyes without looking cakey.  I also use it to conceal around my nose, to cover any blemishes and to set my face.  It adds just enough extra coverage and blends in nicely.  For lips I’ve dug out Revlon Just Bitten Kissable balmstain* in Crush, someone mentioned it in the comments on my Fall Favourites tag video, I’m so glad they did!  It is a wonderfully rich, reddy toned berry shade.  It’s quick and simple to apply and wears well throughout the day.  Great for adding a little umph to your makeup look.

Lady Chastity's Reserve

An utterly epic lifestyle favourite this month was Lady Chastity’s Reserve, it’s a wonderful puzzle room game.  We spent an hour solving clues in near darkness, there was the odd scare and of course a bottle of wine as the prize!  It was so much fun, there were five of us and we had the best craic.  I cannot recommend it enough!  If you happen to either live in Brighton or you visit, you should check it out!

Finally is a bit of a fashion favourite.  If you follow on the vlog, you might have heard mention of the article I was putting together for Angle Magazine.  Well it got published!  It’s called Lanes Style, I tried to capture some of the eclectic style I see regularly in Brighton.  I’m really quite chuffed with it, although I publish regularly here on my blog and I post videos regularly on YouTube, it feels different being published by someone else.  Anyway, you can check out the article here.

What have been your favourites this month?  I’m always interested to hear from you.  I’m looking forward to another month of discovering new favourites in December.
