I recently went along to a rather fun evening at The Body Shop all about their Drops of Youth* line. I already own the Bouncy Sleeping Mask* and I’ve completely finished up my Eye Concentrate*. So I was keen to find out more the rest of the products from this line. We were given a demonstration of how to apply the various products, starting with the Essence Lotion, then the Concentrate, followed by the Youth Cream and lastly the Bouncy Sleeping Mask. We of course were able to test out each of the products. All this while sipping Prosecco and having the odd chocolate. Not a bad way to spend time!
Sadly I didn’t get to had a skin consultation, mostly due to my own time constraints. I did however play with a few of the products and on initial impressions I was rather impressed! I did enjoy the eye concentrate, although it didn’t blow me out of the water. I did happily finish it, but I’ve not repurchased for now – I’ve enough other eye products to use up! I’ve also realised I’ve never done a proper review of the sleeping mask! What a disgrace, this shall be remedied.
I decided to treat myself while I was there and bought a new fragrance, a tiny splurge but it was very needed. I picked up the Black Musk Eau De Toilette, it’s a stunning musky sweet scent. Definitely worth a sniff the next time you pop in! We were also treated to a rather excellent goodie bag, sadly not many Drops of Youth products to play with, but some great products that are tried & true. We got the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil*, Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter* – look look, a review, the Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover*, a Muslin Cloth and some samples of the Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil, which I actually own and again must do a review on and the Drops of Youth Youth Cream. Plus a reusable bag!
