Beauty Empties #7

Beauty Empties

I’m back with a whole heap of empty products, some I’ve talked about before, so of course I will like to those reviews as I go.  Shall we start with skin care?  Good.  I’ve another empty Garnier Micellar cleansing water*, of course I’ll repurchase.  I also finally used up my La Roche Posay Serozinc*, I actually did like this, which surprised me.  I will likely repurchase this at some point.  Another toner is the Botanics 100% Organic Rosewater Toning Spritz*, I already have a back up of this, I’m not sure I’ll repurchase in future due to the high alcohol content, something I’ve been educating myself on more!  I’ll still use up the one I have. I’ve sadly finished up my Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm*, I love this and I’ve done a review of this  so you can read about it more, I still enjoy this and I will undoubtedly repurchase in future.  From Elemis I used up the Treat Your Feet foot cream*, I actually used this as a night hand cream, which worked a treat!  I doubt I’ll purchase this in future, I was fortunate to receive this in a goody bag.  Must love those samples!

I’ve finished up the Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads*, I used these on my bikini line to help rid myself of those annoying ingrown hairs.  I do prefer the Waxperts Wonder Pads, but the clearasil pads did in a pinch.  The third toner I’ve finished up is my Clarins Gentle Exfoliating Brightening Toner*, I have bought so many of these and I will undoubtedly continue to buy more.  I do want to try out the Pixi Glow Tonic at some point, but for now I’ve a few other acid exfoliators that I’m testing out.  I also have the Clarins Gentle Refining Exfoliating Cream*.  I tended to use this before I applied any kind of face mask.  It is quite a nice exfoliator but it sometimes felt like their was a bit of residue left on my skin after using it.  Hence using it before a face mask!  I’m not sure if I would rush out to repurchase.  I have already raved about the Timeless Truth sheet masks, these are fabulous and I’ve already a few on my wishlist to repurchase, you can check out the blogpost to read all about them.  Love.  I have three out of the four skin care products from Eloquence.  I did enjoy the serum and would consider purchasing it in future definitely, however the cleanser and moisturiser were just OK.  Again I’ve done a full review post, ready for you to investigate.

I’m chucking the last of my Liz Earle Eyebright Soothing Eye Lotion*.  This was wonderful on my tired eyes, especially as I kept it in the fridge!  I would soak two cotton pads and place them on my eyes for as long as necessary.  It felt very cooling and it did sooth my tired, aching eyes.  Definitely recommend checking this out if like me, you spend far too long staring at a computer screen.  Sadly it went bad before I finished it up, I might treat myself to a new bottle.  I’ve used up a Boots Facial Hair Removal Cream*, I actually used this on my toes… odd I know.  I just don’t like hairy toes, so I use this to tidy them up!  Generally just use the normal hair removal cream, this was just handier when I was travelling.  From No7 I’ve an empty Youthful Eye Serum, this was fine but I wasn’t overly impressed.  I doubt I will repurchase this in future.

I’ve finally finished up the Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion*.  I did really enjoy this, it applied very nicely and sunk in quite quickly.  Definitely something I will repurchase.  A product I’m glad to see the back of is the Provoke Touch of Silver Colour Care Conditioner*.  This left a residue on my hair and it didn’t really make any kind of difference to the brassier tones of my hair.  Definitely won’t repurchase.  Sadly I have entirely used up the last of The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector*.  This was a wonderful hand cream to use as night.  It takes a longer to skin into the skin but it leaves your hands very hydrated and soft.  Even more so when used at night.  I will definitely repurchase this. The last skin care item was a sample of Optimum Advanced Lift & Firm cream.  This was fine, wasn’t amazing or awful.   I might try a full size in future, I wasn’t blown away though.

We’re almost there! Well done!  The last products are makeup, some of these you’ll remember from my Makeup Use Up Update 1 – the two foundation samples, Jordana Liquid liner – would possibly repurchase, Clinique Bottom Lash mascara – would not repurchase, Sleek Control Shine & Prime – might repurchase and the NYX Micro brow pencil – definitely repurchase.  You can check out the blogpost for more details.    So in addition to those makeup items I have two more!  I have used up the very last of the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liner* in Eastend Snob.  Loved this and thoroughly enjoyed it, I think it’s one of the only lip liners I’ve finished!  That’s saying something.  Will definitely repurchase in future.  I’m chucking a barely used NYX Collection Chocolate Matte Brown Liner*.  This dragged across my skin and was just not fun to use, even when I warmed it up.  Not impressed.

We did it! We made it to the end of another empties post!  Do you still enjoy reading these?  Would you prefer them more broken up?
