I recently went along to the rather excellent Brighton Etsy market and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Thankfully I was able to get in an hour before the market opened to the public. I had a wonderful time pottering around with Natalie from Tea Cake & Make. So if you’re lacking ideas for some Christmas presents or stocking fillers, I’ve plenty of ideas for you below. I couldn’t post pictures of all of the sellers I’ve loved, I’ve only a few. You can see more in Sunday’s vlog – yep I took plenty of footage so you can have a proper nosy. If you see something you like, make sure to get your order in asap or investigate local markets!
All the iron on patches, pins and badges from I like CATS, I love the colour and quirk. Below we have Remnant Black, I adore the dark humour of these pins, cushions and prints. Perfect for those who fancy something different to the norm. Love.
I may have bought a stocking filler from Tree Beard Balms & Waxes. They have amazing smelling products, with no artificial fragrances, no petroleum and no palm oil. Excellent gift for the beardy bloke in your life. Below is Sweetiepips, check out those statement pieces of jewellery. If I was buying presents for myself, I would be all over these.
Can we take a moment to drool over the nature inspired jewellery from Fen & Co. They’re very different to anything I’ve seen. Just beautiful. Next up is Brontie & Co, you might remember them my post about the Brighton & Hove Therapies 5th Birthday celebrations. So many tasty things from raw chocolate to bare cacao hot drink. I can confirm they’re all very tasty.
Above is Helen Rebecca Ceramics, I love the look of these hanging jars, I can see them displaying beautiful flowers or various plants. There were also other homewares, including travel mugs and salt & pepper holders, all sorts. Worth a look! The last picture I wanted to share is this from Designosaur Yeah. So I may have a thing for funky dinosaurs and Designosaur do not disappoint! The Christmas baubles made me smile, they also have necklaces, pins, earrings, t-shirts, you get the idea. There are also other animals available 🙂
There were so many other excellent sellers. I just wanted to give a few more shout outs that you should check out. Claudia Made This – I already own a few favourites from Claudia and her new releases are even more fabulous. Laura Danby has wonderful pins, prints, necklaces, lots to investigate. I may have bought a few gifts from Pork Chops Papercuts, very cool prints, cards, cut outs and brooches. Finally I have to shout out Rudooles, I was in utter hysterics when I seen this stand. Let’s just say these cards and christmas decorations are perfect if you’ve a good sense of humour.
So that’s it. It was wonderful to buy from smaller brands, not only are you buying excellent gifts but you’re also supporting a small business, helping them grow. I was chatting Claudia and her jewellery line has grown enough that it is her full time job! How wonderful is that?! It made my day hearing this.
