Festival Unicorn Makeup Look

I’ve a bit of a fun one. I fancied something a bit colourful and as we’re now entering festival season and I’m part unicorn, this look seemed entirely appropriate!  What do you reckon?  Are you a fan of colour?  I’d such fun just playing with my makeup again and doing something creative.  Plus, who doesn’t love a bit of glitter on their face?

This is all about blending.  I started off with the Sleek Ultra Mattes Bright Palette*, using the coral pink to map out the above crease and blended it up.  I used a pointy blending brush and gradually added a touch more as I went. I then went in with the purple on my crease, blending it into the pink – I used the same brush.  I popped some of the silvery blue from NARS in my tearduct to act as a base for the chunky glitter.  Then I went back to the matte palette and applied the light blue on the inner third of my eyelid and the bottle green on the outer two thirds.  Lots of blending as I went.  I then popped the Barry M Dazzle Dust* in Electric Blue over the top of both and I brought it slightly into my crease.  I like how it changes slightly over the two different shades.

I then did the rest of my face before coming back to my eyes. I took the dark purple from the Makeup Revolution Mermaids Vs Unicorns palette* along my lower lashline and brought it out on an angle. I then went over the top with a Stargazer pearl shadow in purple.  I decided to add a flick – although you don’t need one.  I used the Glo Ray Precision Liquid Liner and once I’d applied a part of Salonsystem naturalash intense lashes, I went over the lash band with some black eyeshadow to blend it out.

I then went in with the glitter! Whoop! I used some of Stargazer Chunky Glitter on my tear duct and in the outer triangle!  You can check out the video for the rest of my face – I would point out that I used an Urban Decay eyeshadow as a highlighter..yep. Playing with all the makeup!

You can check out the video below for the exact details.  I had such fun creating this look. More playing with makeup required!
