I’m back with this Autumn feeling makeup look, I’ve been playing with the MUA Fire Vixen eyeshadow palette* and came up with this orange look. I’ve gone full face (do we think that should be a thing? Going full face…mmmm). Anyway, I’ve gone through the entire look for you to follow along.
I mixed a pump of my Kat Von D Lock It foundation* with a pump with a pump of the Seventeen Skin Wow Primer* and then blended that onto my face with a damp beauty sponge. I sorted out the bags under my eyes using a combination of Bobbi Brown colour corrector* and concealer*. I popped on my mac Painterly paint pot* with my finger and left it to sit while I set my face down with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores pressed powder.
Onto the eyes! I started by swiping the pale shade from the Fire Vixen palette all over the lid. Then I took warm brown from the top right into my crease, blending it out. Taking the bright orange from the bottom row over the outer two thirds of my eyelid, really packing it on. Followed by blending into the crease. On an angled fluffy brush I took the reddy/orange from the middle row and gradually blended this onto the outer V and into my crease and a wee bit along my lower lash line. I did go back and add more bright orange on the middle of my lid, I just wanted to hold onto that vibrant shade.
Along my lower lash I went back in with the reddy bronze, again from the middle row and packed that on before blending it out. For my highlight I took the lightest shade and overlapped it onto the orange, blending it. I then went over the edge with the orange, just to soften the edges.
I lined my top lid with my trusty Maybelline gel liner* and used Ultimate Lash Catcher mascara* from Hema on my top lashes and the outer third of my lower lashes. For my brows I used the NYX micro brow and L’Oreal Brow Artist Plumper. Eyes done!
I contoured my face with NYX blush in taupe*, highlighted with the Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette*, using the warmer centre highlight. For blush I used the Essence Matt Touch Blush Berry Me Up* and swept the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light all over my face. For lipstick I went with my Burt’s Bees lipstick in Blush Basin
I’ve created a short tutorial video, which you can check out below and hopefully make full sense of the instructions I’ve given!
